Six Wedding Style Ideas From a Professional Las Vegas Wedding Planner

How to make sure your big day incorporates your personal vibe

Gone are the days of cookie-cutter weddings. Wedding styles can—and should—be as unique as the brides and grooms who are planning them.

Here are six creative themes that can help make sure your special day reflects your personal vibe:

Wedding style #1: glamorous

If glamour is your thing, a Las Vegas wedding is the perfect place to play it up, with sophistication and just a touch of drama.

Finding the right venue is essential. Because you may be looking at places like ballrooms, museums and historic buildings, book a wedding planner if you need help with the research and contacts required.

Elegant color palettes and décor details will add the polish. Consider a combination of two classic tones, like black, silver, white, ivory, and burgundy. Make a truly wow-worthy statement with pieces like crystals and gold pedestal cake stands, and dress it up with rich fabrics like velvet.

Wedding style #2: industrial

This is another wedding style that relies on a well-chosen venue, to achieve an urban-loft feel. Converted warehouses, lofts and similar spaces can provide the exposed brick and wooden accents you need for an ultra-cool backdrop.

Whether you go with a sit-down dinner or cocktail party event, your décor will be non-traditional—right down to the floral options. Greenery, branches and understated flowers can be complimented with sleek black details, edgy metal accents, and raw lighting. For a statement piece, choose a minimalist print hanger to display engagement photos.

Wedding style #3: transitional

A transitional wedding style is part modern and part traditional. If you’re thinking of options for Las Vegas wedding chapels, churches, and banquet halls, this may be a great fit for you.

Go for a chic mix when planning your special day. Classic shapes and rich hues—like deep reds and saturated yellows—pair nicely with neutral colours. Keep it clean and classy with your décor and your choice of location, but don’t be afraid to make a statement with a special piece like a one-of-a-kind sofa.

Wedding style #4: global boho

Take inspiration from around the world to create an eclectic and unexpected vibe that’s packed with personality. Consider a beautiful outdoor setting for your wedding, like a lovely field or garden. Get even closer to nature with plenty of casually placed flowers, and illuminate tree branches with twinkling lights. Add a dream-like quality with soft colours, or add an edgy touch filled with exotic escape by adding a leather pouf.

Wedding style #5: rustic farmhouse

If your heart lives in the country, then book yourself a country farmhouse—or a venue that provides that vibe, with airy textiles, weathered wood accents and handmade finishes. Focus on autumn-inspired colors, like orange, yellow, burgundy, and brown. Take it one step further with rugged accents like farmyard antiques, statement pieces like an accent cabinet or country fans, and other pieces that will create a casual and calming vibe.

Wedding style #6: mid-century modern

If you love the clean lines and retro-inspired look of the fifties and sixties, a mid-century modern wedding will really pop. Incorporate patterns, geometric shapes and starbursts. Add a bold dose of color to your table with choices like turquois, orange, and yellow—and anything copper. Keep it clean and minimalistic, with maybe a splash of futuristic, then set it all off with the perfect tea-length dress. For the final touch, seek out period-built venues like hotels and country clubs that celebrate their stylish era with authenticity.

Your wedding is one of the most special moments in your life. Make sure you’re planning exactly what you want, and consider how an expert can help you achieve it. Whether you’re from the area or travelling to get married in Vegas, an experienced wedding planner can make it much easier to create the celebration that’s the perfect fit for you.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or
something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the
message home a bit, but instead of that, this is great blog.
A fantastic read. I will certainly be back.

  • Thanks to the wonderful guide

  • Howdy! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Thank you

It is difficult to set up a blog because there are a lot of things to consider and think about. These things are blogging platform, blog theme, logo, site icon, and content. If these things are planned ahead of time, setting up the blog will be a little bit easier. I use wordpress to host my websites and I purchased my theme from themeforest. I hope this helps! Thank you for your kind comment!
